My current boyfriend, everyone knows, is famous for being a rich fool—generous to a fault when it comes to breakup compensation. Every girl who’s dated him and broken up walked away with at least an apartment. But I’ve been with him for half a year, and he still hasn’t mentioned breaking up, leaving me so anxious I could pull my hair out.

Then I heard his first love, his so-called “white moonlight,” was coming back to the country. Overjoyed, I hurried to remind him:
